For the St John Ambulance Subscriber, there is absolutely no charge for emergency ambulance transport and therefore, no financial worries. Click here to download your Northern Territory Ambulance subscription form.
St John Ambulance encourage all Northern Territorians to take out Ambulance Cover, Ambulance costs are based on a callout fee and per kilometre fee. The cost of an emergency ambulance is generally around $745 – 1,000. If you are covered with St John Ambulance, you won't have to pay a cent. Click here to view Transport Rates.

Subscription Rates
Subscription rates vary depending on whether you are a family, or single person, defacto partner, foster and step children. Click here to download a copy of our current Subscription Rates. Subscription costs are very reasonable and are available for up to three years with discount available for two and three year subscriptions.
Exemptions
Holders of an NT Centrelink Pensioner Concession Card or Health Care Card are not required to join our Ambulance Subscription Scheme. However, if they travel to Queensland and South Australia they are not covered for Ambulance transport.
Holiday Cover
Family and individual holiday cover is offered to interstate and overseas visitors for a restricted period and is only valid for transport by St John Ambulance NT, within the Northern Territory.
