Our SJX Provide First Aid course offers fun, immersive training with video-enhanced sessions and no prior online learning. 

Suitable for both workplace employees and the public, students review real-world scenarios and complete assessments using their phones.This blend of screen technology and expert trainers ensures high-quality, effective learning. The comprehensive St John Ambulance course covers common first aid injuries and illnesses, equipping participants to handle emergencies confidently.

Bring your own device: All assessments can be performed on your own device eliminating paper and improving accuracy.

No pre-learning: The video based learning allows our trainers to be more efficient, meaning all material can be covered in class on the day. 

What certification do you get?

This is an accredited course. On successful completion of this course you will be issued a statement of attainment in:

  • HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
  • HLTAID010 Provide basic emergency life support
  • HLTAID011 Provide First Aid

St John recommends, as per the First Aid in the Workplace Code of Practice and the Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines, that first aid skills are renewed every 3 years (HLTAID011) and resuscitation skills (HLTAID009) are renewed every 12 months.

• Fractures and dislocations 
• Sprains and strains 
• Hypothermia and hyperthermia 
• Head, neck, and spinal injuries 
• Medical emergencies 
• Choking 
• Abdominal and chest injuries 
• Poisoning management 
• Bites and stings 
• Stroke 
• Safety and risk management
