First Aid Fun These Holidays — Lifesaving Skills for Kids of All Ages
Looking for a school holiday activity that’s fun and teaches real-life skills? The St John First Aid Holiday Program is back — and it’s packed with hands-on learning, confidence-building, and just the right amount of bandages and stickers.
Designed with different age groups in mind, each session offers a mix of fun and practical first aid education. From little ones learning how to call 000 and care for their teddies, to older kids practising CPR and learning what to do in real emergencies, every child walks away with skills they’ll remember.
Best of all, each child gets to take home activity sheets, stickers, and some basic first aid items to keep practising at home.
Why first aid for kids?
Emergencies can happen anywhere, at any time. Teaching children first aid helps them stay calm, take action, and get help when it matters most. It also builds a sense of responsibility, resilience, and care for others — all while having a great time.
Run by the experts
The program is delivered by St John Ambulance — a trusted, self-funded charity with more than 140 years of experience in lifesaving education. By booking into the First Aid Holiday Program, you’re not just helping your child gain important skills — you're also supporting our work in communities across Tasmania.
