This July, more than 300 children and parents across Tasmania joined our First Aid School Holiday Program — and what an amazing time we had!
From bandaging teddy bears to calling Triple Zero, our little lifesavers stepped up with confidence, curiosity, and compassion. 💛👏
One of the most exciting moments for many kids — stepping inside a real St John ambulance!
They learned what happens in an emergency and explored life-saving equipment up close, guided by our team.

From teddy bears to dinosaurs, kids practised their bandaging skills on their favourite soft toys.
It was a gentle and engaging way to learn basic care techniques — and the toy patients looked very well cared for!

Every child who completed the session received a certificate — and their proud smiles said it all.
It wasn’t just about what they learned, but the confidence they gained.

The program welcomed not just kids but their parents too!
Families learned first aid side by side, practising CPR, recovery positions, and more — creating a shared learning experience that strengthens community preparedness.
